Maki week, day 4 — Guns / Knives

Poppy is the best thing that ever happened to Branch, hands down. She was the first friend he made after years and years of loneliness, she helped him move on from the past, she made him fall in love for the first time, she went on a journey with him and supported him when he needed her, she helped him reunite with his brothers and be truly happy again and finally live the life he deserves. It's crazy how much his life improved after that one adventure with her in the first movie.

it boggles my mind that JD is likely the most touch starved out of his brothers. like, branch went gray, but he also stayed with the village, and was routinely roped into hug-time against his will. floyd, for all of my own speculating, must have at least kept around civilization. clay had the putt putt community & viva, and bruce had his own family.

all of the information we can glean about him implies that he went off to the middle of nowhere and just. stayed there alone. roughed it pop idol style....

and there's something so deeply, incredibly sad about that. JD makes my heart hurt, the poor idiot.

IKR I also love the biological stuff and it's like the main reason to why I created this thing in the first place... anyway- all fuzzed beings have certain animals dna in theirs like for example Callie has the panther and Marie the wolf, idk thoiught I'd mention it

The jellyfisg... they're kind of like tarantulas but tarantulas aren't mammals so they're not exactly that. They look cute tho I'd hug them-

Idk if it’s just me but I love it when people incorporate kokichi actually listening and working with characters that get dismissed by the rest of the group, namely Gonta (I do believe they were actually friends at some point, as close to friendship someone so paranoid and distrustful like kokichi can get ig) and Miu (actually taking her talent seriously and working with her while the others seemed to just see her as vulgar and rude) into their content, be it fanart or fan fiction, really makes you see why his talent is all about leadership, you have to take everything at stake seriously, consider every variable, and he did, even though it doesn’t seem like it at first glance (most of the things he did, he did them for “the greater good” imo)
